"The Barn" Sessions

Those who want to be taught woodworking skills

OR have the woodworking skills and want access to the workshop facilities  

OR are looking to get out and make friends

OR have practical skills that they want to share with others

OR need somewhere to pursue a craft activity

OR want to bring an item to the workshop so that we can help them with a repair

The Barn has been set up as a fully equipped woodworking workshop that is available for local adults to use. Paul was employed by a local charity called Blyth Tall Ship to set up their community workshop. As a qualified assessor he was delivering NVQ qualifications in joinery and traditional boat building skills.

The workshop will provide a social hub as well as offering skill based training. It will also be a place where people can volunteer to share their expertise and skills with others.
